Yau Fong Foundry is fourth-generation family-owned, supplying castings to the mining industry. Founded by the late Yau Yoong Fong, 72 years ago, our company is built upon a foundation of trust and fairness.
Yau Fong Foundry Sdn Bhd established Tasek Iron and Steel Sdn Bhd in 1985 to meet the growing demand for manganese steel wear parts by the mining, quarry, engineering and aggregate industry. Tasek Iron and Steel is a subsidiary of Yau Fong Foundry.
Tasek Iron and Steel first ventured into the international supplier market in 1997 with supplies to a Japanese crushing plant and equipment manufacturer.
Tasek Iron and Steel continues to supply to this 100-years old Japanese rock crusher manufacturer with 14% / 18% / 21-24% Manganese crusher jaw plates and bowl liners.
Casting weight range: 200kg (440lbs) to 5000 kg (11000lbs).
This was followed with manganese supplies to other crushing plant and manufacturers in 2001 from Scandinavia and UK.
Our castings have exported to Australia, Japan, Korea, India, Singapore, Indonesia and Indo-China.
Tasek Iron and Steel is located on a 3.5 acre plot of land in Tasek Industrial Estate.
